Our service concept

Early morning and evening consultation hours, short waiting times, surgical after-care examinations on weekends as well, free appointment reminders by phone, email or letter, extensive, personal advice on various treatment options and how they can be financed, and how to prevent tooth damage in the first place (prophylaxis).

Tooth preservation/prophylaxis

Nothing should be unnecessarily manipulated on naturally beautiful teeth. They should be checked regularly and professionally maintained by a specially trained dental hygienist at individually determined intervals in order to keep these gifts of nature healthy and beautiful. Our free reminder service will help you adhere to the maintenance and check-up intervals agreed with you.

Cosmetic dentistry

Whether it's the beautification of individual tooth surfaces or the production of veneers, crowns or bridges, or extensive reconstructions of entire rows of teeth more beautiful than nature gave you – this has been our speciality for over 30 years. Our daily range of treatments includes minimally invasive procedures, such as tried-and-tested, tooth-friendly whitening methods, as well as extensive orthodontic/technical dental corrections and rehabilitation of the complete oral system.

Low-radiation X-rays with CBCT 3D X-ray diagnostics

3d Röntgen

Our practice has had a digital X-ray system since 2008, which allows for significantly improved detection of findings with up to 80% less radiation exposure. The most precise measurements can also be carried out directly on the X-ray image, for the safety of our patients during implant procedures and for better predictability of the success of root canal therapy.

With our "PaX-Duo3D" 3D cone-beam computed tomography systems, we have the most modern 3D X-ray diagnostics available to us for your treatment. Compared to conventional X-ray technology, which only generates a two-dimensional X-ray image, with 3D cone-beam computed tomography, a three-dimensional model of the jaw is created with the help of multiple images. The surgical intervention is planned and simulated in this digital 3D model. This enables us to optimally prepare for the procedure.

Implantology

Implants

After the loss of a tooth, it can be replaced with an artificial root made of titanium. After a healing phase, this is then topped with a crown. The stability of dentures can also be improved with implants, for example, by integrating the implant into the existing denture. For patients without their own teeth, there are different options for connecting dentures to implants. Before an implant procedure, you will first be given a non-binding consultation. Only after careful assessment of the case will we then decide together with you on how to proceed. You will then receive a detailed, written plan with an overview of the costs for the selected treatment method. Should you then decide in favour of the procedure, we will have another final consultation to clarify any final, outstanding questions.

Bone regeneration

Bones can be lost as a result of inflammatory processes, accidents or insufficient use. Simple implants then become impossible. In our practice, implants are still possible by regenerating bones using either synthetic materials or those from your own body.

3D planning and navigation

In the case of complicated implant or oral surgical procedures, we are able to use three-dimensional diagnostics and planning on the computer. For this purpose, a 3-dimensional tomographic image, a so-called CBCT (cone-beam computed tomogram), is first produced and evaluated. This record can then be used to plan an intervention precisely, for example, in order to position implants or localise the mandibular canal. Furthermore, in collaboration with our specialised dental laboratory (Dental Design Schnellbächer & Roland, Klein-Winternheim), there is the option of a three-dimensionally guided/navigated operation using an individual 3D drill template, which means significantly less surgical trauma for the patient.

Oral surgery

Wisdom tooth extraction

The wisdom teeth can cause pain, inflammation or misalignments in the jaw. Is is, therefore, often the case that they need to be removed. We carry out this procedure gently in our practice. This is possible under either local or general anaesthesia.

Root end surgery

Periodontal surgery

This involves trying to reduce the gingival pockets or to improve the bone structure around the tooth using gentle surgical methods. In addition, aesthetic problem areas can also be treated using gum transplants (free connective tissue graft/free mucous membrane graft).

Anaesthetic treatment

Of course, extensive interventions can also be carried out in our practice under anaesthesia. Since 2011, we not only have the qualified personnel on hand, but also a special surgical suite that meets the requirements for general anaesthesia. We perform these procedures in cooperation with the specialised team of anaesthetists under Dr Müller, who is able to devote himself entirely to his specific task, no matter what the dental treatment. This may involve the removal of wisdom teeth or extensive implantations with bone augmentation, or even complete restorations and extensive general dental treatments for anxious patients.

Disinfected water

Since 2009, our practice has had a state-of-the-art water treatment system that not only softens tap water, but also disinfects it, so that the patient only comes into contact with water that has been completely sterilised when in the treatment chair. Thanks to this, we exceed even the requirements currently placed on dental practices by the Robert Koch Institute.
